I have worked with the staff and residents at Benton House of Aiken on multiple occasions. The facility is beautiful, the residents are happy and well cared for and the staff is amazing. The perfect home for families looking into Assisted Living and Memory Care for your loved ones. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I toured Benton House when I was searching for a home for my mom who needed extra help. The staff and administrators were all very kind, friendly and understood the dynamics of making such an important decision. I especially liked the access to lovely places to walk right outside the door, place to go for pizza, ice cream, lunch etc and Dr appts. They encouraged me to attend their special events. Sadly, mom died before the move was needed but Benton House is far away the best option of its kind in this area.

My Mammaw and Pappaw live at the Benton House and they have nothing but nice things to say about the facility and the staff. Unfortunately, I live in Colorado so I am unable to visit as often as I would like, but it makes it easier being so far away knowing they have loving people taking care of them. Thank you for all that you do.

The staff are always attentive and friendly. They truly do care for those under their care.The facility remains very clean and in working order.Residents are offered activities, outings, medical care and seasonal events. And all are performed with a smile, caring compassion and timely.A great place to visit. One day I would love to live in a residence like this.

The staff at this community are the angels in my life. My parents moved into Benton House 2.5 years ago. The staff has always been there to support my parents and our family despite the many bumps along the way. Living in a different state, I know that my father is loved and cared for by the entire staff. Benton House has handled the pandemic with positivity, creativity, laughter and grace. They give me peace of mind at a time it is so desperately needed. I just finished a visit with my father and I was tickled to see the laughter and love between him and the staff. We would highly recommend Benton House of Aiken! We have been overwhelmed with gratitude for all the staff has done for us, and more importantly, our Dad/Husband! The life-giving PT, medical attention, heartfelt care, delicious & nutritious meals, professionalism, super fun activities, guidance, communication, and authentic LOVE has been nothing but WONDERFUL! "Coach" has an amazing "Team" who assist and care for him while keeping his spirits lifted! A special shout out to the "Team Captains", Cullen McCormick and LaRobyn Samuel, for your top-notch commitment, care and love for Coach!! The pandemic has been incredibly difficult on everyone, especially those in memory care/assisted living. THANK YOU Benton House staff, who are now friends & family, for doing everything in your power to keep our loved ones safe, cared for, extra-loved and happy--while gently guiding us too! Benton House has a great professional team who support the residents at Benton House. This has been a very difficult year with the pandemic.Our father has been at Benton House nine months now. He is still adjusting to his new life in Aiken, but is slowly accepting the changes, thanks to all the staff who greet him with a smile.He still misses his friends from the Florida keys, but the Benton House staff have made the transition smooth. My sister and I are thankful for keeping him safe and showing Aiken southern hospitality. We are blessed to be part of the Benton House family.

Our family knew Benton House was special after the first visit. Meeting Nicole, Margaret, LaRobin and many of the support staff and seeing nad hearing how they interact with their clients set our minds at ease when we knew it was time to transition mom into a long term care facility. Once the pandemic hit, we were worried about mom and not being able to see her, but ALL the staff at Benton House has gone above and beyond to make sure each client is well cared for and loved. We know that we chose the right place for mom. Benton House has taken the precautions during the pandemic seriously, ensuring each and everyone's safety and well-being by following the CDC guidelines, and keeping families well informed of the ins and outs of their decisions making processes. Thank you to everyone at Benton House for loving our family members well.

Susan and I are so very grateful for Benton House of Aiken and the amazing Ladies and Gentlemen who work so hard to support its' residents. For almost two years, support and care for my Mom and Dad has been very professional and sensitive. When my Mom passed away in November 2020, all of Benton House rallied in her Memory and to support my Dad during such a difficult time for our Family. The past year with the pandemic has been very challenging yet we know my Dad is most protected, most cared for and on his behalf, we thank you very much! We are so blessed to have all of you caring for and loving my Dad.

I can't imagine an assisted living facility providing better care than Benton House provided my wife, who was in memory care until she died. The team of Resident Assistants, which is the heart and soul of such an institution, is exceptionally competent and caring. Ty and Katina, among others, come immediately to mind as typifying these qualities, women who have tremendous experience, are patient and gentle, and who have huge, warm hearts. Benton House is exceptionally well-run, and the highest standards of care are established by the Executive Director, Nicole Simmons. 6 stars out of 5.

My mother moved into Benton House just before the lockdown in 2020. Our family could not be more thankful for the excellent care she has received while living at the home. The staff truly cares for her and her wellbeing and we could not be happier with the decision she made to move in when she did. THANK YOU, Benton House. You are awesome.

My father moved in during the Pandemic. This is the first of 3 places he has lived where he says the staff are so nice and seem to genuinely love what they do. He loves the food which is a huge thing for him. Everyone has always been so kind and quick to respond to any question I may have. It has been such a easy transition for us as a family and that cant be expressed with words.

Our family member has lived here for about 18 months. The staff are positive, caring, attentive, and respectful of her needs. She enjoys the social gatherings, especially the singing. This has become her home, and she is surrounded with caregivers who ensure her safety and well being. Grateful for the care she is receiving!

We recently needed an interim place for my mom to stay while she was recovering from hip surgery and receiving PT. Benton House was fantastic! The Leadership/management and staff constantly exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Such a caring facility!!

The staff at Benton House have truly changed my mother's life. Over a year ago, my brother and I realized that we could no longer care for her ourselves. Our oldest brother had passed away just a few months before, and Mom was inconsolable, physically and emotionally in terrible shape. She had always expressly said that she never wanted to be put in a "home," but she was just not safe without someone around 24 hours a day. Thankfully, we found Benton House. She was surprised at how nice it seemed, and she agreed to try it.Since then, there have been a number of changes in our lives, but the one constant has been the support and compassion of everyone at Benton House. My mother is not just better since coming there - she is thriving and experiencing real happiness again. She spends time with peers who understand what it’s like to be her age. She takes part in outings and in-house activities that are fun and give her a sense of purpose. She is happier and healthier than she has been in years. She has gotten so much better that we recently discussed her moving back home. She wasn't interested. "I am home," she said.And that is the great irony: never wanting to be in a "home," she found her home at Benton House. It truly is assisted living. She is living her life, being her best version of herself; she simply gets help with all those things she needs while maintaining her independence and sense of self. She no longer has to worry about falling, or accidentally leaving the gas burner on overnight, or forgetting to eat or take her medicine. Continence issues, difficulty bathing and getting dressed – things that used to make her feel like a burden – are all handled with great care and compassion by the staff at Benton House. Mom tells me almost every day how well she is treated. The staff there have become like family to her and to all of us that love her. Whenever I leave after visiting, I find myself wishing that all assisted living centers could be that good. Getting older is difficult, but when you are valued for the person you are despite the things you can no longer do yourself, there is so much joy to be had! My mother is experiencing the joys of aging because of the kindness of the people who assist her every day. For that, we are blessed, and we are thankful.

Words will never adequately express our appreciation of the staff at the Benton House of Aiken. Our mother, Lillian, has been treated consistently with kindness and respect.All of the staff; cooks, maintenance, nursing staff, administrators, custodians, have been pleasant and extremely accommodating.We admire the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual support that is provided to our mother and all of the residents.The peace of mind provided to us knowing that Lil is well cared for, is immeasurable.Benton House staff are truly committed to their professions. We can not thank the staff enough at Benton House! Everyone is so sweet and caring! When our Mother has a hard day, everyone is so sweet and caring to her!
I do not have to worry about checking on her every day, because she is so busy during the day and having a good time.
If she needs me, the staff will call me.
Best thing we did was move our Mother to Benton House 19 months ago! Thank goodness for their awesome staff!
Everyone their works so well together. They work as a great team and they help each other. That attitude goes down to the residence.

Wonderful Staff!
My mother has been with Benton House (memory care) for almost a year now after being in a different assisted living place for two years. The difference is phenomenal. I live a great distance from Aiken, so it is often difficult to know all that is going on with my mom. Someone in the Benton House staff always calls if something is going on with her that I should know about. This never happened at the previous assisted living facility. I also get texts from them on a random basis, just to say something like she had her nails done and is looking wonderful. I deeply appreciate this communication and wish to extend a personal “thank you” to all the wonderful staff who care for my mom on a daily basis.
